YOU'RE KILLIN ME

Lauryn Noel Hill AKA Lauryn Hill: A Singer, an actress, a "wife", and mother. As The World Turns as Kira Johnson. In 1993, she starred in Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit as Rita Louise Watson. In the film, she performed the songs "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" (a duet with Tanya Blount) and "Joyful, Joyful". It was in this role that she first came to national prominence, with Roger Ebert calling her "the girl with the big joyful voice". Her other acting work includes the play Club XII with MC Lyte, and the motion pictures King of the Hill, Have Plenty, and Restaurant. After her rise to musical stardom, she reportedly turned down roles in Charlie's Angels, The Bourne Identity, The Mexican, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
What I really wanted to talk about was the remake of he song "Killin me softly with his song", by the fugees. It was deep enough to make me think, but delicate enough to make me rock from side to side.

Moving Mountains (M^2)

When you believe anything can happen. Brittany Spears could make a comeback, and she did. Who knows Michael Jackson could even go on that comeback tour they speak of. Flavor Flav could be attractive. Well, not so much... This particular song in times of crisis can get you through. The most powerful sentence in this song: "We were moving mountains long...before we knew we could." In all truth we really were. Though both singers have phenomenal voices on their own together they are Dynamic. Between the unheard of high pitch sound of Mariah, and the low sultry voice of Whitney there was absolutely no way that they could go wrong with this song.

As a teenager, and in my early youth I loved this song... Absolutely loved it. It didn't matter if you wanted it to be about guys to change the economy, or speaking about change it was a good song. The dances and the clothes that these ladies wore were absolutely trendsetting. The tights, and the hair was fabulous to a T. Though they separated in 2002 they reunited and did a show together tittled "The Salt N Pepa show". They proved that nothing can keep the power of " pushin it" away. I'm wondering if we could possibly see another album in the future. Keep your eyes open. Be on the lookout..On the prowl.

DESTINY'S CHILD OR tlc????

Two phenomenal groups, 3 people each, 6 great singers, and many awards... They are TLC, and Destiny's Child.
Since the late 90's they both have blown up the pop charts with such hits as?: bills bills biil, waterfalls, scrub, soldier, and survivor just to name a few. The raw tenacity and talent that they have is remarkable. Though Destiny's Child is said to be the best selling female group of all time, TLC was the first female group ever to receive diamond cetfication by the RIAA for selling over 11million copies in the U.S.A. Though the Left of their dearly departed Lisa Lefteye Lopez is still etched in our minds they keep going and the legacy lives on. Off every song made between the two I would have to say Unpretty by TLC was my absolute favorite. It is so in depth and real that at the end of the day you know that you're not alone. Besides the song unpretty- TLC, and Survivor- Destiny's Child are two very nice songs that if you think about it are rival songs for the same message.

WHAT'S MY LAST NAME?

This By far is the funniest video that I have seen in a long time. The song in itself is funny considering I'm pretty sure someone has been in the situation. The story is Carrie got drunk and and began dancing with a guy. She had no clue what the guys' last name was. Before she knew it she married him and after realizing what she had done wanted to leave. Her only problem was that because she married him and didnt know his last name she couldn't divorce him. She had taken his last name, meaning it was also hers' too. If this were ever to happen to me I would most likely laugh after I got through it. Besides the video I love her voice and the slight hip hop it had to it. One lessoned learned through the whole thing... Don't get in a pinto. :)

Update on Chris Brown and Rihanna news: Rihanna did not give him Herpes and they were fighting over a recent breakup. Chris Brown was supposedly seeing his ex (the star of the upcoming Aaliyah movie). Mr. Brown could be facing anywhere from 4-9 years in prison if convicted. . .

DID HE REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know and love our R&B songsters, and songstresses. Last night Miss Fentyn AKA Rihanna was supposed to perform at the 51st Grammy awards,but did not show up. Allegedly fellow R&B singer, and current boy toy Chris Brown had a dispute with the singer and hit her. Sources say Rihanna may have Given Brown an STD and he lashed out last night. Now He is facing a felony charge, and if convicted could face jail time. He supposedly turned himself in already. Being realistic I do not believe this is the story at all of what happened. They say Chris's father was abusive and that he takes after him, but no one can say what really happen but the people who were there. This is what the insider had to say about it."The Insider" confirms that pop singer Rihanna will not be performing at tonight's Grammies following sustaining a bruised face in what sources called a car accident.
Coincidentally, Rhianna's rumored boyfriend Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery related to an alleged attack on a woman who he had been riding in a car with that sustained what police call "visible injuries."Honestly I seen Chris Brown being beaten by rihanna with i don't know... an umbrella.
